New feature: User mentions 🎉

This week, we've launched a new feature that makes a world of difference when it comes to keeping your teams and stakeholders in the loop: User mentions!

How does it work?

You can now @-mention your workspace members in a comment or in the item description if you want them to take a look at something you've edited or worked on. Simply type @ followed by the person's name, use the arrows on your keyboard to select the person you want to mention, and press Enter.

If you @-mention another workspace member, they will be notified right away. They'll see a red badge appear next to the Notifications icon in their navigation bar with the number of notifications waiting for them, including user mentions.

For more information and general FAQs, check out our help center article here.

Improvements ✨

  • Improved item search
We've improved the search function for several instances, such as searching for items when you're trying to add a dependency or while using the workspace's general item search. It will be much easier to look for an item without knowing the exact item name, saving you so much time and hassle.

  • Sort your table view by Insights score

For those using the Insights app, you're in for a treat! You can now sort your table by Insights score, allowing you to raise new potential problems to solve to the surface. (↑ Ascending or ↓ Descending).

  • Improved navigation with the item panel

For the Priority Ratings app, in addition to accessing the priority ratings of an item on the item panel, you can now navigate back and forth within the panel with the < button.

  • Keep an overview of how many seats you have left in your subscription

It's not a mystery anymore! In the billing settings, admins can now see how many paid seats are left in their subscription plan and how many contributors they already have in their team.

Bug Fixes 🐞

  • On Firefox, some team member lists and assignee lists were ordered incorrectly.

  • Completed Priority Poker games were sometimes displayed as open or incomplete.

Improvements ✨

  • In-app notifications for Priority Poker game invites

You'll never miss a Priority Poker game invitation again. From now on, you'll get an in-app notification when someone wants to invite you to their Priority Poker game. Prioritize away!

  • Improved PDF export

Previously, when you sorted your items based on a certain sort order on the table view, the PDF export will not consider the sorting you've applied. Now, when you export your table view, the PDF export can show the sorting option of ascending or descending.

Bug Fixes 🐞

  • Certain Jira custom fields were not mappable to airfocus custom fields.

  • In-app notifications with longer item names sometimes weren't displayed correctly.

Improvements ✨

  • Insight card customization
A little glow up to Insight cards is here. When creating a new Insight, you can now decide whether you want to display any of the custom fields of the feedback on the card that displays on your linked items.

This allows you to review key information around the original feedback on the directly in the Insights list of the item without having to navigate back to the feedback workspace first.

To customize the card, access the Insights app settings and customize the fields you wish to display.

  • Persistence on Chrome extension
The airfocus Chrome extension is now easier to use than ever. When switching context and opening/closing the extension to add more information, the extension will save any previously added content until you are able to submit your item.

  • Current user listed at the top of the assignee list
Your own user account will now always be listed on top of the existing order of the assignee dropdown list. No more scrolling down a long list, Xander!

  • Auto-filling team slug on signup page
New users can now sign up for an account with ease, as we pre-fill the team slug input field with domain relevant information.

Bug Fixes 🐞

  • Jira custom field mapping would not work when pushing a new item from airfocus to Jira.

  • Mirrored workspace names would not appear on swimlanes on some workspaces accessed via share links.

  • CSV imports temporarily ceased to properly del with fractions.

  • The timeline view would crash when the "+ Add item" button was pressed.

  • The Jira integration configuration's JQL filter pre-filled text kept appearing after removing it from the integration settings.
